About the Role:

The alignment of our warehousing and distribution channels to our commercial strategy is critical to our success.

 

You will report to the General Manager – Operations, a member of the Winson Group Executive Leadership Team. You will work closely with him in key areas and contribute as part of the Signet Operations leadership group.

 

Day to day you will drive the safe, efficient and effective warehousing and distribution of Signet products nationally. The role is responsible for managing all aspects of the warehousing systems and operations across 5 locations, as well as overseeing freight arrangements and partnerships.

 

In addition to your core role, you would undertake projects that lead your division towards best practice, utilizing technology and continuous improvement techniques. Some travel to our interstate facilities will be required.

About You:

You are a Warehouse and Distribution professional with 5+ years’ experience in a management role. Ideally you possess relevant qualifications that align to your expertise, and a background in the packaging or allied industry would be highly regarded.

 

You are a talented leader with the ability to build momentum for change through developing trust and relationships. You also drive performance and expect excellence from your teams. Applying LEAN / Continuous Improvement methodologies, championing Zero Harm and establishing Quality practices is a way of life for you.

 

In addition, your ability to problem solve and develop solutions is underpinned by your analytical mindset and comfort with technology, particularly reporting via corporate ERP systems.
